This beautiful hare print on wood is a print of one of my original hare paintings entitled "Beatrice". It has been pritinted with high-quality UV ink on to a stunning piece of Mappa. The wood itself has lots of character and looks almost like marble. The grain has been enhanced with coat of osmo oil for added protection.

I paint British wildlife on wood rather than canvas as I love using wood as a natural and sustainable background to my artwork. Much of the wood that I work with is reclaimed and therefore has some beautiful markings and character that deserve to be preserved and celebrated for years to come.
